What the Cubs need to WIN WIN WIN !

I've been helping at my church's VBS (vacation Bible school) this week and noticed these two boys wearing Derrek Lee shirts playing on the same team in tug of war.
It then dawned on me that what the Cubs need are TWO Derrek Lee's.

Happy Birthday Harry Caray!

I have a funny Harry Caray story to share.

Many years ago, just after Harry had left as the White Sox broadcaster but hadn't signed with the Cubs yet, my friends and I met Harry and his wife.

A large group of us were on Rush Street on a weekend. We had a mix of Cubs and White Sox fans there, including some members of the Sox Supporters. (Are they still around?)

We weren't bar-hopping, just seeing what was to be seen there...and we spotted Harry and his wife.

All the Cub fan girls in the group said Hi to him and kissed him.
A week later he signed with the Cubs as their announcer. Imagine that!
