Atlanta Braves Spring Training 2005

No, I haven't switched to being a fan of the Braves, but I was in Florida and while I in the Disney neighborhood went ahead and checked out the Brave's spring training facility "Cracker Jack® Stadium" at Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex. So far, this is the closest I've been to spring training. At the time we were there, the players had already left for the day at noon. :(

Click here to read the event board for that day.

Why, of course I met someone from security.

(I liked that their security officers wore referee uniforms.)

Shopping at the Disney sports store at the Cracker Jack® Stadium" at Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex.

Shouldn't these be on clearance since he's no longer a Cub?

Some items reminded you that yes, you were really still on Disney property...

A statue inside the store.

A nice employee at the facility gave me this sign.
Later on other employees teased me about "stealing" the sign.
I placed in the the back window of our vehicle to give
bored kids traveling something to wonder about.

My family ate at the All Star Cafe at the Braves spring training complex.

Another view - see anyone famous?

Look up!

More decorations above us...

I thought the baseball glove booth was pretty kewl.
